Who we are

Telemetra Intelligence Ltd ("Telemetra", "we", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17327772, with its registered office in Cardiff, United Kingdom.

For the personal data described in this notice, Telemetra Intelligence Ltd is the data controller. You can contact us about anything in this notice at our contact form.

What we collect, and why

We collect personal data in two ways: information you give us directly, and limited technical information collected automatically when you visit the site.

Information you give us

If you complete our enquiry form, we collect the information you choose to provide:

• Name and work email address (required, so that we can identify and reply to you)
• Organisation and role (to understand the context of your enquiry)
• Insurance line or use case, where you select one
• Any message you write to us

We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and to continue any conversation that follows from it. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a marketing list without asking you first.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting and analytics providers record standard technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP address. We use this in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to keep it secure and working properly.

Our lawful bases

Under the UK GDPR we rely on the following lawful bases:

Who processes data on our behalf

We use a small number of service providers who process personal data on our instructions. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

International transfers

Some of these providers are based outside the United Kingdom, principally in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law — typically the International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an applicable adequacy decision.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses a small number of cookies. Cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function are set automatically. Analytics cookies, which help us understand how the site is used, are only set where we have an appropriate basis to do so, and you can control cookies at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics data is used in aggregate. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.

How long we keep it

• Enquiry correspondence — kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless the enquiry becomes an ongoing business relationship, in which case it is retained for the duration of that relationship and a reasonable period afterwards.
• Analytics and server logs — retained for a limited period in line with our providers' standard retention settings, then deleted or anonymised.

Where we no longer need personal data, we delete it or render it anonymous.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy of it
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Ask us to delete your data, in certain circumstances
• Ask us to restrict how we use your data, in certain circumstances
• Object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests
• Receive certain data in a portable, machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the contact form. We will respond within one month. There is no charge for making a request in ordinary circumstances.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections across the site, authenticated business email with SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured, access controls on our systems, and the principle of collecting as little personal data as possible in the first place.

Children

This site is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
